About CAV.

 

CAV is a not-for-profit association of arborists, tree managers and related professions working in local government in Victoria. We support our members to pursue best practice arboriculture and advocate on arboriculture matters across industry and government sectors.

CODE OF ETHICS

Professional
standards.

 

Our code of ethics represents the professional standards of CAV. It’s important all members adhere to our professional standards to promote CAV as a leading industry body.

 
 
 
 

Members of CAV will:

 
  • Adhere to high standards of integrity to instil trust and confidence in CAV

  • Be efficient, effective and fiscally responsible

  • Avoid conflicts of interest that may diminish a member’s professional status

  • Stay up to date with best practice arboriculture and urban forest governance

  • Pursue professional excellence and encourage the professional development of members, colleagues and students

  • Advance the interests of CAV by freely exchanging knowledge, information and experience between professionals
